Project Description

Project / Program Description

We would like to utilize this grant to help low income families by providing energy efficiency improvements and residential solar.  By pairing energy efficiency with renewable energy it will educate the recipients and the community on the whole "Green Power" initiative.  The recipients would only be low income households that would have participated with Energy $mart first and received an energy audit, home improvements and power usage suggestions. This would qualify them for a 2kW solar panels system to be installed on their premises.  The combination of energy efficiency and solar power would optimize the benefits of a solar system.
