VivoRex proposes to utilize lightly-damaged solar panels, that otherwise would be bound for America's landfills, to build 1MW to offset 100% of the electricity costs for 100 low-income homeowners in Spartanburg, SC, selected by Habitat for Humanity. Electricity will be sold to Duke Energy. Lightly-damaged panels operate at near-100% efficiency, as they can be repaired on site. Common practice is to send these units to landfills, exacerbating the negative environmental impact of our nation's landfills.
We have received commitments from project developers, EPCs and industry suppliers to donate modules, solar trackers, inverters, and engineering and construction management services.
