Project Description

Project / Program Description

Promise Energy, Mercy Housing, and Sharper Energy Technologies intend to install community solar facilities in Colorado totaling 2-4 MW that will serve the low-income properties and tenants of Mercy Housing and Denver Housing Authority.  Completion expected by 10/31/18.

Our goal is to have 100% of subscribers be low-income buildings or tenants.  Our innovative financing model requires zero down payment, allows tenants of any credit profile to subscribe, and allows non-profit housing developers to generate revenue by investing in solar for their property portfolio.

Serving low-income communities, we stack social and environmental benefits.  In addition to offsetting GHG emissions, low income residents can reduce their energy costs and properties can increase financial viability through savings from solar.
